Summary0006085: Details of an event are not correct reset/modified when copying this event (causes invitations that cannot be accepted)
Description

When events are copied by the three dot menu in same or other calendar only the UID is changed (CORRECT BEHAVIOUR) but other details of the event like CREATED, LAST-MODIFIED and SEQUENCE (if changed before) are not set in same manner like new event. This prevents the participants from accepting the copied event in some clients as well the creator to insert / update the notifications. Other malfunctions cannot be ruled out.
Please read the reproduction steps to follow in order to eliminate the certainly minor error.

So please, whenever coping an event in SoGo Webmail:

  • Create new UID (already working)
  • Set SEQUENCE to 0 or remove (not working in 5.11.2)
  • Set CREATED to copy time like in new created events (not working in 5.11.2)
  • Set LAST-MODIFIED to CREATED like in new created events (not working in 5.11.2)

Maybe the proposal 0005820 can be solved too, when working on this bug.

Steps To Reproduce

1) Insert calender event in SoGo (see file "2025-02-04 SoGoEvent-1-Original.vcf") → no SEQUENCE is given → everything OK
2) Move calender event one day later (see file "2025-02-04 SoGoEvent-2-MovedOneDayLater.vcf") → same UID, event date/time changed, LAST-MODIFIED: updated and "SEQUENCE:1" set → everything OK
3) Move calender event one week later (see file "2025-02-04 SoGoEvent-3-MovedOneWeekLater.vcf") → same UID, event date/time changed, LAST-MODIFIED: updated and "SEQUENCE:2" set → everything OK
4) Move calender event one week earlier (see file "2025-02-04 SoGoEvent-4-MovedOneWeekBack") → same UID, event date/time changed, LAST-MODIFIED: updated and "SEQUENCE:3" set → everything OK
5) Move calender event one day earlier (see file "2025-02-04 SoGoEvent-5-MovedOneDayBack.vcf") → same UID, event date/time changed, LAST-MODIFIED: updated and "SEQUENCE:4" set → everything OK
6) COPY calendar event (see file "2025-02-04 SoGoEvent-6-CopiedOriginalTime.vcf") → new UID, same event date/time, same CREATED, same LAST-MODIFIED and same "SEQUENCE:4" set → new UID = OK; all other WRONG

Dear SoGo-Team,

my colleagues reported that this issue apeears since we upgraded to v5.11 as we tested some bugfixes from your nightly builds. So we cannot easily witch back without getting the other old problems back. And the problem is very annoying as we cannot accept any feedback to invitations an my colleagues losing the overview about meetings.

So we would be very happy if you could have a look into this ticket 0006085 as the problem ist clearly described and the problem soloution is very easy and without any changes in UI or translation.
