Summary0005939: Recurring event invites not shown in mail invites
Description

Dear SoGo-Team,

The information that an invite is a recurring appointment is not displayed in the invitation e-mail, but is imported and displayed in the calendar afterwards. The information is available in the message source but not shown in the UI. This may lead to accepting an recurring event under the circumstance that it may understood as one-time event.

example: RRULE:FREQ=DAILY

Current state: The appointment invitation is not displayed in the emails whether the appointment is repeated
Desired state: The appointment invitation is displaed in the emails with the following information:

  • first occurrence
  • appointment will be repeated
  • last occurrence
  • frequency

Steps To Reproduce
  1. person A creates an appointment in the calendar
  2. this appointment is repeated every day
  3. person B is invited by person A
  4. person B receives the invitation via email
  5. person B opens the email with the invitation
  6. person B sees only the first occurrence and accepts the appointment
  7. person A gets confirmation for all occurrences

Hello,

does anyone else have this problem too and could maybe crosscheck on their systems?
For us it is really annoying in daily work for regular telcos but I do not want to push the SoGo team just for us ...
