In a Contact List duplicates entries should be prevented.

I think that if i have two similar contact, 1 in a contact list and 1 in another, when i compose a new message i should find only one of those.

I must take up the subject again...

Hiding is not the best idea, but maybe you can check if the email address or the combination of first and last name already exists in the address books before saving?And if there are several entries, just give a warning?

In this way, duplicate contacts can be avoided and it might also be easy to implement? I know some users who would be happy about this function!
