Summary0006250: Email sorting does not work anymore
Description

In the email view you can no longer sort the list of emails in the middle column.
Whatever sorting was set before upgrading to 5.12.11 is still there and can no longer be changed.

Steps To Reproduce

1) open email view
2) in middle column klick on the "Sort"-Button.
=> in the popup menu you see that e.g. "From" is set and "Descending Order" is deselected.
3) klick on "Date"
=> nothing happens to the sorting
4) klick the "Sort" button again.
=> "Date" is selected", but the sorting is still after "From"
5) klick on "Descending Order"
=> again, nothing happens
6) klick the "Sort" button athird time
=> You see that "Date" and "Descending Order" are selected, but the sorting of the mails is still "From" and ascending.

Additional Information

I also tested this on demo.sogo.nu on 2026-09-23.
There it worked as expected.
I opened this Ticket anyway for others to find this bug.

Hello, yes, as you said, already fixed in the nightly-> https://github.com/Alinto/sogo/commit/6c93d6b66cd2e53d66b9f921ef9223b9598b040d
Next version 5.12.12 is planned before the end of October.
