Summary0006139: SOGo Connector not working with Thunderbird 140 ESR
Description

Hi,

The current SOGo connector (version 128, https://github.com/Alinto/sogo-connector/tree/tb128) doesn't work with Thunderbird 140 ESR.

The icons (new, subscribe, remove) are not displayed in the calendar and newly subscribed calendars using the SOGo Web interface don't appear. However, newly added events on previously subscribed calendars or newly added contacts on previous adressbooks still do sync.

On startup, two errors are displayed in the Thunderbird console (see attached screnshot too):

Steps To Reproduce

Upgrade to Thunderbird 140 ESR from a working Thunderbird 128.12.0 ESR + SOGo Connector 128 installation

Additional Information

Stopped working around early 130~betas I think

Hello,
I've made a new branch for thunderbird 140 -> https://github.com/Alinto/sogo-connector/tree/tb140
Can you try it?
Calendar sync seems to work and I try a few things. But it mays have error still.

Dear Quentin,

I tested a connector built from the new 140 branch and it works as expected. The buttons appear and I get no errors. I tried to :

  • Subscribe to a SOGO calendar
  • Rename and change the color of a SOGO calendar
  • Remove a subscribed SOGO calendar
  • Add a new event
  • Move an event
  • Rename an event
  • Delete an event
  • Add a contact in the user's personal SOGo addressbook
  • Edit the contact
  • Delete the contact

Everything worked fine.

I also tested the the new 140 branch and can confirm, everything works, thank you very much!
