Summary0005850: Settings: The save button remains disabled after entering a forward email address, which is not in the contact book.

Settings -> Mail -> Forward

When entering a valid forward email address, which is not in the contact book it is not possible to confirm (i.e. "enter/accept") the email address.

This results in multiple issues:

  • It is not possible to enter multiple email addresses as delimiters for a second email address (e.g. ; or ,) cannot be input. The key press is simply ignored.
  • the save button (as well as the items in the sidebar) remains disabled and it is not possible to save the updated settings.

There is no indication, that a search is happening in the background and no results were found.
It should be possible to confirm the entered (valid) email address, even though it is not present in the contact book.


A current workaround is to enter each forward email as a contact.

Steps To Reproduce

Settings -> Mail -> Forward

Input any valid email address.
