Summary0005552: Shared Calenders: No Invitational E-Mail send after appointment creation (for a shared calender)
Description

An email invitation to the appointment will not be sent if a user creates the appointment via a shared calendar on behalf of the calendar owner.

With the own calendar this works without problems.

Steps To Reproduce
  1. log in with an account in SOGo.

  2. create and share or share an existing calendar with another user. All permissions should be set, including creating and deleting!

  3. create as the other user the appointment in the calendar of the original calendar owner.

  4. invite a user to the appointment.

  5. no confirmation email received.

Additional Information

The whole thing was tested with mailcow on version 2022-06b. The SOGo versions used are 5.6.0 and 5.7.0.

Is another user (the one creating the appointment) allowed to send email as owner of the calendar (as From:)?

It is now. Inside the Webmailer it works flawlessly now! Thanks for that.

But if i use EM Client with activated Active Sync (Calenders are also Shared with Active Sync) and create a new Appointment as a different user there it won´t send a message again.

Don´t know if that is a EAS Bug or not.

Thanks for your help anyways!
