Summary | 0005211: Fedora 33 + Evolution 3.38.1 cannot read CardDav from SOGo
Description | Fedora 33 When adding the CardDav address book to the Evolution Client no address book content will be loaded. No error message appears. Doing the same on a Fedora 32 with Evolution 3.36.5 (3.36.5-1.fc32) everything works as expected and the address book can be read. Any ideas why this happens?

Fedora has updated the system-wide crypto policy to disable legacy cryptographic protocols (TLS 1.0 and TLS 1.1), weak Diffie-Hellman key exchange sizes (1024 bit), and use of the SHA-1 hash in signatures. You may check, if your SOGo instance in mailcow suffers suffers from weak encryption using SSLabs Server Test or similar CLI tools. See https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Changes/StrongCryptoSettings2 too. |

tested my server with SSLabs and got an A+ |

I'm having the same issue too. Checked SSL and it's not the issue. Calendars sync through CalDAV just fine, it's just the contacts that no longer sync properly. There is a parallel bug report here (https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/evolution/-/issues/1223) for Evolution. |

this is not an SOGo issue... please look here: |
