Summary | 0005144: Outlook not ask "read receipts"
Description | When an email is received in Outlook 2016 configured in activesync mode with the read receipt, the choice is not offered.
Steps To Reproduce | Via Web access enable in IMAP configuration on "When I receive a request for a return receipt" select "Allow return receipts for some messages", the three options are set as "Ask me".
Additional Information | On Web access the read confirmation is correctly requested
Tags | No tags attached. | ||||
According to following page this is handled by the server in a native exchange environment. The EAS client doesn't care about it: I assume that we could implement to send a return receipt (when requested) when flagging the mail as read, but we cannot ask the user for his consent. |
