Does internal function and cardbook provide same integration of Sogo Server?? Sogo module provides search box for avalaible calendars and address books in TB...
Of course caldav and cardav works fine but without this integration...

No, CARDBook only provides calDAV/cardDAV access.
All SOGo specific functions like creating calendars/address books in SOGo, adress lists and privilege management are not available.
For that you still need "SOGo Connector".

First of all, the Connector is now merged with the integrator

• The Carddav integration is still experimental and not released, cardbook ist too big/complicated for our users
• The Plugin allows to search/add, edit, create and manage ACLs of calendars and address books
• The Plugin can be configured to be fully bound to your own SOGo server - which allows to create a fully unattended setup of Thunderbird complete with calendars and address books. The Plugin completely mirrors the subscribed calendars / address books and config from the Webinterface. - Which is the key part to us

The only thing that comes a bit close to the functionality is TB-Sync which doesn't allow tho create/edit calendars and address books inside Thunderbird.

I hope that the lists will be back in the final version - we only got this features (without sketchy workarounds with categories) finally by moving to the SOGo plugin and we very much need this feature. Can we provide help in some way?

Nevertheless : "The Plugin completely mirrors the subscribed calendars / address books and config from the Webinterface." Thats what i expected when I am arrive in my company, but at the moment, I only have these features when creating manuallu calendars and addresses books in TB.
In webinterface is fine, but in TB, there is many errors (overlays error etc in TB console). Buttons to add calendars don t work for example...
I mean with my TB but also on others users TB...
TB is 68.x and Sogo 2.x

Help is pretty small about this, like wiki... If need help to update or complete... (if the right running was know for me...)

This aside yes, a lot ow work is missing in documentation and finetuning for the plugin as well as some broken stuff on TB's side. Maybe by working directly with MZLA https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=546932, https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1665230 on some stuff could help bringing this setup (and opensource groupware as a whole) forward. The SOGo setup we now have with TB68 is the closest we ever got to Outlook+Exchange

is there an ETA for the SOGo Connector Plugin for Thunderbird 78?

Also curious to SOGo Connector plugin for Thunderbird 78. For me, and probably others, it is taking very long and contemplating to move away from SOGo because if this.

being stuck with 68 at the moment definetly - but looking at the github alpha/beta with (at least for us) two major features in carddav missing (syncable adress lists, global readonly adress book) I still have not much hope updating thunderbird in the near future. I think the plugin will be released alongside Thunerbird 91 as this release will have carddav available by default...

The latest release supports TB 78 and 91.
