Summary0004944: Feature request: Simply moving selected messages to Junk folder with SOGoMailJunkSettings
Description

Dear developers,

Parameter SOGoMailJunkSettings supports sending a copy of spam/ham to specified email address, but our mail server (iRedMail) has Dovecot imapsieve[1] configured, when email moved to Spam/Junk folder, a copy will be saved on disk for further scanning and auto-learning as spam, and vice verse, if email moved from Spam/Junk to other IMAP folder, a copy is saved for further scanning and auto-learning as clean message.

What we need is a "Spam" and "Not Spam" button to encourage users to report spam/ham message, but what it does is simply move selected message to or out from Spam/Junk folder. Could you help improve SOGoMailJunkSettings parameter to support this operation?

Thank you very much.

That is already implemented.
Just set SOGoJunkFolderName to whatever your Junk/Spam folder is and do NOT define SOGoMailJunkSettings.
Then you can select emails in the folder list, by clicking on the icon before the emails and press the thumps down button, in order to move those into your Junk folder.
When opening your Junk folder, you can select emails in the list and use the thumps up button to move those emails out of the Junk folder.

Dear Chris,

I know the "select then move" operation. what i want is displaying a "Spam" or "Report Spam" button in non-Junk folder, and a "Not Spam" button in Junk folder, to encourage users to report spam/ham messages.

When click the "Report Spam" button, what it does is simply moving messages to Junk folder, and vice verse.

With these 2 buttons, end users don't know it will trigger the auto-learn process in the background.

A quick typo fix in previous reply:

"With these 2 buttons, end users WILL know it will trigger the auto-learn process in the background."

You want to change the mouse over label of those buttons from "Junk" to "Report Spam" and from "Not junk" to "Report Not Spam"?

Not "change the mouse over label", but a dedicate button.

That button is already there, or do you want another one at another place?

I don't see a button/link to close this issue. Could you help close it?
Thanks, Chris. :)
