Summary | 0004893: Not all types of emails and phone numbers shown in web interface
Description | In the web interface only one type of emails and phone numbers is shown. It would be better if all types are shown. Please also note that the types for emails are in capital letters where as those of phone numbers and addresses are not - this also could be mor consistent.
Steps To Reproduce | Sync a contact with more than one type for some emails and phone numbers, see for example the file attached (which is the raw source of that contact). Then check the display of that contact in the web interface, see the screenshot attached - only one type is shown. In the example you have

@Christian Mack: Thanks for checking related issues, but this is not a duplicate of 0001205. 0001205 asks vor support of vCard 4.0 (which I support), here I ask for a better support of vCard 3.0. Both issues are of course related as 4.0 also supports several types, but 4.0 has some differences compared to 3.0 than just multiples types per information. So please change to type of the relationship to "relates to" or maybe to "is child". (It seems to me that I can not do that or am I just missing how to do it?) |
|
Some improvement with vCard 3.0 support has been done with release 4.3 (see bug 4939) - thanks for that. Is there some timetable to complete vCard 3.0 support or at least this issue about supporting several types for emails and phone numbers? It would be nice to have some answer even if it states that it needs some more years or will never happen – but for sure I would appreciate some change in the near future. :-) |
|
For sure it would also be nice to select several types for emails and phone numbers in the web interface (instead of only showing them but nit providing any option to edit them accordingly). |
