Summary | 0004865: New Button to toggle temporarily compose message mode
Description | We write e-mails as text e-mails by default. From time to time it makes sense to answer HTML e-mails as they are. A new button would be helpful to temporarily switch the write mode when writing e-mails. Unfortunately the mail has to be re-rendered in this case...

Should also apply when forwarding a mail. HTML mails with links and stuff often become unusable (or at least unreadable) when converted into text. Implementing a button to toggle between text and html mode any time while editing a message sounds challenging to me. What about a "Convert? Yes/No" prompt when clicking the forward or answer button in case the original mail is not in the format configured as compose message mode? |
