Summary | 0004859: Duplicate Contacts when No Last or First Name
Description | We have a large shared address book with a number of outlook and apple clients syncing. We experience duplicates for contacts that are company names but have no first or last name. This usually happens when a user modifies one of these company contacts then a duplicate is created. I suspect these also often do not have an email address associated. Have not located whether its outlook or apple syncing that causes it. None of the contacts with first and last names get duplicated.
Steps To Reproduce | Create a number of contacts that do not have a first or last name - eg. Company Microsoft Pty Ltd and sync across multiple devices. Edit the company phone number, address or phone number or add a new one. Resync across multiple devices and users and duplicates slowly appear and buildup.
