Summary0004557: password encoding problem
Description

We encountered 500 errors while trying to sync to carddav server (kolab with iRony) for some users.

Further investigations leads to only one difference between users who could sync and user who couldn't: the password. While accounts with ascii only passwords with worked, passwords with special characters like @ or @ didn't.

Steps To Reproduce

Try to sync with carddav server where user account has password with some special characters.

Sorry, but the bug tracker doesn't display your special characters.
Could you add them in Unicode notation please?

I didn't figure out, exactly which special characters are affected. But at least the "at" sign and the hash:

U+0023
U+0040
