Summary0004119: Inbox will Repopulate Randomly. Users have to wait hours before Inbox is fully back in sync.
Description

In Outlook 2013, I have had several users say the log into Outlook 2013 and randomly, their inbox will be empty. Then, the oldest messages start coming back in. It wouldn't be that big of a deal if the newest one started to come back first, but it's always the oldest ones. This has happened to several users multiple times. I cannot figure out what is causing it.

We had seen that also. But we had no clue what it could be. Sometimes the EAS client says everything is in sync and new mails are not shown in outlook.

in Thunderbird you see the mails for that account. After an outlook restart the mails are shown. we thinks that the EAS sync from outlook doesn't start polling the sync.
