This is related to tasks. Firstly we cannot set/edit a reminder through web interface without specifying a start date. This limitation does not exist in desktop mail clients such as em-client (caldav) or outlook (caldav) which allow you to set a reminder w/o specifying a start date for a task.

Secondly even when a reminder is set through a desktop client, they do not travel to the activesync clients. In other words, task gets created without the reminder setting on the devices syncing via activesync. Also when a task is created on a activesync client, then also the reminder information gets lost.

I have tested this on two different activesync devices and both showed the same behavior. Consider three devices: blackberry (activesync), em-client (home pc, caldav), outlook (office pc, caldav synchronizer):

1. em-client creates a task with a reminder, the same gets created in the outlook & server (though sogo web interface won't let me edit the reminder if a start date wasn't set in em-client but it does show the clock icon so the data is there). Task gets created on the blackberry too but w/o any reminder.

2. when I create a task on blackberry or my android phone (Tasks & Notes app. does direct activesync) with a reminder, sogo server, outlook and em-client all get the entry but w/o any reminder setting.
