| Summary | 0003928: Outlook cannot move multiple emails to a folder. | ||||
| Description | If you are connected to Outlook (2013 or 2016) via Active Sync and try to move more than 1 email to a folder, it'll show it done but the changes are not sync'd and the mail server still shows only 1 email has moved, while the others remain where they are. Nothing comes up in the logs to indicate a problem. I've replicated this under different mail server configurations and different mail servers with no difference. | ||||
| Steps To Reproduce | Connect to Outlook 2013 or 2016 | ||||

I can reproduce the problem, but from the logs I see that SOGo is working as expected. Although I move multiple emails in OL the requests from OL contains (sometimes) only one email which is then processed by SOGo. When I move another mail to the same folder the next MoveItems-requests will contain all emails which were not included in the previous MoveItems-request. You can test again with SOGoEASDebugEnabled = YES; to see what is described above. A quick test with www.outlook.com shows the same wired behavior. |

Looks like other solutions also have this issue: https://www.mailenable.com/kb/content/article.asp?ID=ME020656 It seems that we can also trick Outlook in making it move all messages. |
