Editing an entry in a contacts list is already possible by double-clicking on it. Maybe we should stick to this behavior.

Actually, I would prefer the other way around. The contact list window should be adapted to enable single-click editing, since those are actually "text fields" widgets (conceptually). Moreover, the classic paradigm is that a double-click opens a window, whether on Mac or Windows.
