Summary | 0002658: Folder names beginning with numeral can't be used and create new folder
Description | Just noticed if a mail folder on my Dovecot server begins with numerals, it can't have mails moved or copied to it. On a copy/move, a new folder is created with an underscore prepended to the original folder name and mails moved to the new folder. The new folder is not added to the subscriptions list.
Steps To Reproduce | 1) Create Inbox subfolder "1 Test". 2) Copy a mail from Inbox to "1 Test".
| ||||
Additional Information | Issue occurs even if the folder is one word ('1Test' or '1_Test'). Folders that begin with letters don't have this issue. If relevant, Dovecot = 1.2.15.
