Summary | 0000249: Web UI login sometimes does not work
Description | Logging into the SOGo web interface sometimes does not work, although username and password is typed in correctly. The problem occurs around every second or third login on my setup, however, I was not able to determine a specific reason.

When the first login attempt doesn't work, what does it do? Nothing? Do you have an "Wrong username or password" message? Does it simply reload the page? Have you noticed if the problem occurs when you click on the "Connect" button or if you simply press the "enter/return" key? Thanks |

I just committed a change that could help: http://mtn.inverse.ca/revision/info/bd24937e7ce408db324855032cc7f16806b6d54e |

I always logged in using the enter/return key, I never clicked the "connect"-button. What do I have to do in order to test the changes? I installed SOGo from the Debian packages and have no idea which files to download and replace. Thank you for your help. Best regards |

Copy the file SOGoRootPage.js ( http://mtn.inverse.ca/revision/downloadfile/bd24937e7ce408db324855032cc7f16806b6d54e/UI/WebServerResources/SOGoRootPage.js ) to |

Hi, unfortunately, your patch does not solve the problem for me. However, I think I know how to reproduce it: Login to sogo (I use firefox), close the browser without logging out, wait a few minutes (session timeout?), restart the browser, open the sogo site (login screen appears) and try to log in. For me this results in one failed login attempt. Best regards |
Does this bug still occur? |
Reopen if needed. |
I did a fresh install of sogo 1.3.1 on a debian lenny system |
Is it still the case? |
This bug does no longer occur for me. However, I did a complete reinstall of the sogo server in the meantime. |
Thanks, closing for now. |
