Summary0002304: Some preferences (in "defaults/preferences/site.js”) are not correctly recognized during initial setup
Description

If I set up a new TB Profile and install sogo-integrator to it some preferences (i.e. “calendar.week.start” or “calendar.alarms.showmissed” - preferences that are not known by a default TB-installation) are not correctly recognized by Thunderbird (on the other hand some are, i.e. “app.auto.update” or “mail.inline_attachments”). Instead the default settings of lightning are used.

Additional Information

If I remove and reinstall sogo-integrator afterward (after lightning and the integrator are installed) - all preferences I defined in “defaults/preferences/site.js” are recognized by TB correctly.
If I install intentionally an old version of sogo-integrator (i.e. 17.0.3), so that this addon will be updated right after the first start (via update.php on Server) - no difference.
But when I do an update on sogo-integrator and deploy it via update.php after I set up TB the first time (the wrong preferences are still used) Thunderbird will use all of my defined preferences as soon as he has updated sogo-integrator.

Tested Plattforms:
TB 17.05 with sogo-integrator on Mac OSX 10.8 and Windows 7.

Speculations:
The installation order of the extension is relevant for TB. If sogo-integrator was installed before or the same time than lightning – The defaults from lightning are used. If Sogo-integrator was installed (or updated) after lightning was installed. Sogo-integrator can overwrite the defaultsetting defined by lightning.

BTW:
There are IMHO no preferences named “autoupdate.enabled" and “extensions.update.auto" as described in “Mozilla Thunderbird Configuration Guide” that will affect Thunderbird or am I missing something – perhaps you meant "extensions.update.autoUpdateDefault".
