Summary0001683: sort by date will result in strange behavior when displaying mails like conversations
Description

Enabling the property for displaying your mails like converstatons, you will have the problem that new mails do not occur on top of your email list. This behavior seems to be caused by sorting the mails in conversation style only regarding the first mail of each conversation.
So conversations started some time ago will be somewhere in the middle of your email folder (sorted by date) as the originial opening mail of this conversation was some months ago.
I think this should be fixed as otherwise you will have to search for new mails :(

perhaps, I do not know, but not like Outlook. I think this should be fixed in order to match to the mental model of the user. The current behavior is not intuitive in any case and nothing you can work with - see the sogo mailing list and try to work with conversations :)

This bug is still present and still annoying (makes threaded view unusable) in 2016 and SOGo version 2.3.13

The threading mode in v3 is set to be "rewritten" - conversations will be presented differently than Thunderbird/SOGo v2 - it'll be more like Google's Inbox.

What ever happened to this? It's 2020 and v4 still has this chaotic behavior few users understand.
