Product Version | 1.3.0 | ||||
Summary | 0000702: Events and Tasks not shown
Description | I've upgrade to version 1.3.0 on the backend and to the .101 of connector and integrator and .11 version of the sogo lightning for thunderbird 2.0.24. Now in Thunderbird the event-list and task-lists does not show the content for the selected calenders in the lists / sidebars. There is no error reported in thunderbird, apache's logs or the sogo daemon logs. The clients running on debian. Last working frontend version: .99 A similar behavior was reported for the .100 version of the thunderbird frontends

Are you using the Debian package of Thunderbird or the official version? You MUST use the official version. Also, you MUST install an old libstdc++ - Google on it, it has been documented by Mozilla numerous times. |
it's the mozilla version - not debian's iceweasel. Just verified that the same problem exists using tb 2.0.24 and the current frontends unter Win XP. The debian based clients have the "libstdc++5" already installed |

Have you customized your SOGo integrator? |
yes, its customized the same way than i did it the versions before. I'm currently sniffing the packet that goes around. When switching the servers (plugin) url to http instead of https (combined with changing the apache's config) events and some task are loaded. So maybe it's ssl related or a now showing up apaches misconfig. I will do some tests where the problem may stuck... |
Similar bug exist for me at least with: 1) last build of sunbird on windows |
I'm using https too... |
xweber: if you check the new "show in today pane" option of the calendar settings, does it solve the problem? |
(Just tested for https) This will bring back the tasks in the side pane! But not the events (appointments from the calendar) in the side pane or in the event list. There are only events from one of the five calendars im currently watching. |
Any news on this bug ? |
Out of curiosity, could you try with the plugins for Thunderbird 3.1? (http://inverse.ca/downloads/extensions/nightly/) Don't forget to customize the SOGo Integrator extension if you use it. |
