Summary0006059: Recursively Assigning User-Rights for Shared Folders
Description

If I want to share a folder in the WebUI with another user I have to add the access rights for this user for each folder and sub-folder separately. SOGo does not automatically assign the access rights to child-folders. As I had the case
where a lot of child folders were present, it was a really mess to assign all rights manually.

Please adapt the behavior that SOGo automatically assigns the access rights of shared folders also to the child-folders. A checkbox to select "Apply to childs" could also be an option.

I would like to support this feature request. I have also noticed this similar problem and would be pleased if there could be a solution soon (spring 2025?).
From our point of view, it would be sufficient if all rights of a user could be inherited to subfolders via a selectable checkbox. It would be nice if SoGo could check beforehand whether rights have already been assigned for this user there (note: "Shares have already been created in subfolders for this user. Should these rights be irrevocably overwritten?) or not (No hint.).

Thank you very much for your great work!

I would also support the request in the version Saxonia Personal likes it with a checkbox for selecting recursive folders. This would be a great improvement!
