Summary0005931: Global address book does not display field descriptions and persons like groups
Description

After the update to 5.10, only the e-mail addresses of people in our global address book (which is integrated via LDAP) are displayed in the detail view. Further information such as phone number and address are missing! When I search for one of these people and then click on the detailed view, the missing data appears. I have noticed that the field descriptions (business, mobile, notes) are also missing from the data records in the incorrect display.

Steps To Reproduce

Prerequisite: Use of a valid global address book source (LDAP)

1) Login to SOGo
2) Switch to address book

incorrect behavior:
3) Selection of any data record -> detailed view only shows e-mail addresses without labels (for persons and groups)

Correct behavior:
3) Search for a person or group
4) Selection of a hit -> detailed view shows further data such as telephone number or note, the field descriptions are also displayed

Thank you, it may be related to listRequiresDot = NO;. I have made a fix on this (https://github.com/Alinto/sogo/commit/4dba56f70dbda81822b3fd26e1420c367c1b7298)
Can you retry with the nightly 20240227 (tomorrow) ?

Unfortunately I could only test it with today's nightly (5.10.0.20240228): it works as desired! Thank you for the quick solution!

In version 5.10 I had to specify the parameters "SOGoGlobalAddressBookFirstEntries" and "SOGoGlobalAddressBookFirstEntriesCount" to get LDAP records displayed - this is no longer necessary?

Yes those settings are not necessary anymore. Apologize for the mistake.
You can use old listRequiresDot and the new globalAddressBookFirstEntriesCount if you need to limit the results.
