Summary | 0005487: Selecting text when replying/forwarding e-mails
Description | I am replying to an email and the first thing I try to do is select some text at the bottom of the email content with the mouse. Not the actual text is selected, but also all lines before it. So it can happen that I accidentally overwrite the text.
Steps To Reproduce |
| ||||
Additional Information | The error always occurs only on the first reply, after clicking into the email or the first keystrokes everything works correctly. The error occurs both with HTML and plaintext and it doesn't matter if inline or popup. I can also reproduce the error in your demo system. Firefox is used as browser.

Is this limited to Firefox? Can you also reproduce the problem with Chrome (or any Blink-based browser)? |
|
Sorry for the late reply and yes it seems limited to FireFox (could not recreate it with Microsoft Edge) |
|
Is there any news here? We still have the problem with FF ESR 91.11 and SOGo 5.7. Can the problem be solved without changing the browser? |
|
I can't reproduce this issue. |
