Summary0004936: Invitations from user, which is in the same SOGo instance are synced as accepted to Outlook 365
Description

Invitations made from a local user (Ada) to another user (Bob) are displayed in Outlook twice. First as "accepted" and second the outlook's "autogenerated invitation".

When is outlook off while the invitation is delivered to Bob, it appears only once and as "accepted".

This results in confusion and we think it is responsible for some events lost in our instance.

Everything is fine in the webcalendar

Steps To Reproduce

Bob uses outlook with EAS

1) Ada@benocs.com sends invitation to Bob@benocs.com
2) Bob checks his calendar
3) Bob sees 2 events

Additional Information

Please notice, that picture showing 2 events (Invitation test 0000002) was reproduced with outlook running, but the Invitation Test is the result of starting outlook and syncing pending invitation from Sogo Webmail (another picture).

Is bob doing anything with the invitation in OL other then synching?
Please reproduce with SOGoEASDebugEnabled = YES and upload your sogo.log.

We were reproducing this issue and it can be reproduced only on our setup where we have shared DB, but webmail and activesync are two different SOGo instances.

On single instance setup (SOGo + EAS) everything works as expected.

We will probably move away from our weird setup to normal setup.

@tfu Are you interested in our sogo.log even in that case? Is that setup such bad idea, as it seems now?

You mean your env is similar to what is described here: https://sogo.nu/support/faq/dedicated-separate-sogo-instance-for-activesync.html
If you'd like to continue upload me your sogo.log.

I have separated the related log file. The event shows now "accepted" event in Outlook, that changed probably because of some upgrade we did in the meantime

I don't understand your update. Is the problem still there after the "upgrade"?

sogo.trunc contains traffic for 2 clients (DeviceId=E039D15ED76F4B659E5A73074A6A0C32&DeviceType=WindowsOutlook15 and DeviceId=ce6943af1c80475c969c82da57483ee2&DeviceType=Outlook). As far as I see each client receives the event (ServerId>6C8E-5E259080-17-31423D00<) only once....

The problem is still there, the event is shown as "accepted" in outlook (solid background), but it is shown with transparent background in sogo webmail. The issue changed a bit, now I can not see the one extra event pending invitation.

Do both sogo instances (web and activesync) share the same memcached instance?

No they don't. That could possibly cause the problem, as mentioned in the other bug.

We don't have memcached configured in sogo.conf, we do only have the cache folder
OCSCacheFolderURL = "mysql://sogo:password@<db_ip>:3306/sogo/sogo_cache_folder";

Still cannot reproduce the issue. Can you provide a sogo.log with SOGoEASDebugEnabled = YES and a detailed description about the timing (to match earch activity to a log-entry in sogo.log).
