Summary0004511: Travel time not showing up
Description

In the Apple calendar app (macOS and iOS), an event can consist of two parts, the event itself and the travel time (the time I need to spend to get to the location of the event).

When we enter a travel time for an event in Apple calendar, that travel time is not displayed in Sogo on the Webinterface, but in our native Apple calendar app it is displayed correctly.

This is a built-in feature of the Apple clients. SOGo doesn't track your position.

Dear Francis. Well, the problem is less the tracking of a users position. It is only a display problem of the web-calendar. In my point of view it was quite easy to let the web-calendar show this travel time part of an event. Is it possible to extend SOGo in this way? What would it cost?

This information is not available to SOGo. It is computed by your iPhone/iPad/iMac.

I don't think so. The data is included in the CalDAV file. Otherwise it couldn't be transferred from the Mac to SOGo and then from SOGo to the iPhone.

The location and a X-APPLE-STRUCTURED-LOCATION attribute are present, but there's no attribute that expose the travel time.

Yes it should be. Check out "X-APPLE-TRAVEL-DURATION;VALUE=DURATION:PT30M"
