For planning purposes it would be perfect to have a kind of resource view composed of multiple calendars - each representing a resource. These views have to be for day, week and multiple weeks. X-axis is hours in day view, days in week views, Y-axis is resources (e.g. Meeting rooms, tools, ...) or even persons (e.g. on duty, on vacation). In the week views the actual time is shown as color bar with length corresponding to time in the width of the day column width.
