Summary | 0004221: in FF, mail editor, when mail gets larger than editor window, mail jumps on nearly every character
Description | I use FF 54.0.1 on OpenBSD, but also saw it with FF on a Windows 10 box. When opening mail editor, and write a (long) mail message, then, when the mail gets longer than the editor window, and a scroll bar appears on the right side, then, on nearly any character typed into the message window, the message text jumps up and down, and typing the remainder of the message is rather painful.
Steps To Reproduce | This was first observed with SOGo 3.2.9, and still exists with 3.2.10.
Tags | No tags attached. | ||||
Do you observe this problem on demo.sogo.nu? |
|
I logged on as sogo1 user, and at first, I wasn't able to reproduce, but then I recognized, as the sogo1 user I created HTML messages, but in my preferences I prefer plain text. After switching mail preferences of 'Compose messages in' to 'Plain text', and trying again, it starts jumping. Just type until you get the scroll bar, the longer the mail text then gets, the worse the jumping. |
