Summary | 0004047: CalDAV per-event files do not contain VALARM sections
Description | CalDAV fetching and saving of event reminders does not work with Thunderbird / Lightning and KOrganizer. It does, however, with DAVdroid.
Steps To Reproduce | Use Thunderbird with Lightning or KOrganizer. Create an event or edit an existing event and add a reminder (if editing an existing event, existing reminders won't show). Save the event. The reminder is not saved on the server.
Additional Information | I don't know much about the CalDAV file structure but if I mount the CalDAV directory as WebDAV, it seems that for each calendar, there is a big ICS file that contains all events and a folder with the calendar id that contains each event as a separate ICS file. VALARM sections are only present in the big file. I suspect that DAVdroid reads / writes the big file and Lightning as well as KOrganizer read the per-event files.
