Product Version | 31.0.1
Summary | 0003569: Multiple email addresses not synced. Data loss results.
Description | Actually using 31.0.2, but that's not selectable If a contact in the SOGo web interface has multiple email addresses that have not been assigned a type, only one is synced to Thunderbird. Furthermore, it appears to be the last, whereas I would expect the first. If a change is then made in Thunderbird the resulting sync removes the missing email addressex from the server.
Steps To Reproduce | Create a contact in SOGo. Add two email addresses without assigning a type to either. Or import a vCard containing two emails with no type: BEGIN:VCARD Sync. Only one is transmitted to TB. Make a change in TB, the card is sent back to the server with only one address, deleting the other.
Additional Information | If types are assigned, then two addresses sync, but there doesn't appear to be a clear pattern as to which order, or which are dropped if more than two addresses are present. This is probably a duplicate of 2570, but that reports the problem only with other servers. I have experienced wit SOGo 3.0.2. The fact that using SOGo with its preferred client leads to potential data loss is worrying.
