Description

With active SOGo Connector addon, an unexpected confirmation dialog appears when creating an event or task in Thunderbird/Lightning and closing it immediately without any modifications. This dialog does not appear when SOGo Connector addon is not active.

SOGo Connector only synchronizes address books, and has nothing to do with calendars.
SOGo Connector only uses the authentication part of Lightning.
I don't see, how that behaviour should happen.

Do you have SOGo Integrator installed too?

No, I have only SOGo Connector installed, see the attached screenshot. It confused me too, that Lightning misbehaviour depends on the SOGo Connector addon. But I can reproduce this with current Thunderbird from Mozilla and a clean profile.

Suspended until a detailed procedure on how to reproduce it is provided.

I've never seen that, and been using the extensions daily for 10 years!

  1. create a new user profile and log into that
  2. install Thunderbird -> everything works as expected
  3. install SOGo Connector -> reported misbehaviour can be observed
