Summary | 0003466: Debian beta versioning greater than release
Description | Hi guys, I was using debian-nightly-v3 and now that the new release is out (congrats!!!), even changing the source, it won't upgrade. The reason is that the versioning scheme used confuses apt-get, "3.0.0b5" and "3.0.0b5.20160112-1" are considered more recent than "3.0.0" in debianease. Thanks!
Steps To Reproduce | dpkg --compare-versions 3.0.0b5.20160112-1 gt 3.0.0 && echo first is greater than second
Additional Information | Also, on the nightly repository the day number stopped changing.
