Summary0002773: The owner of an appointment should be able to delete the appointment / withdraw his participation
Description

A user creates an appointment and invites other users, but then cannot / must not participate in the event. If he deletes the event, all others would be uninvited. He can also not mark himself as not participating, to remove the event from his free/busy schedule.

Possible solutions:

  • Transferring ownership to another user
  • Delegate the appointment to another user
  • Allow user A to change his participation flag to "not participating"
Steps To Reproduce
  1. User A creates appointment
  2. User A invites B and C
  3. Now user A cannot withdraw from the appointment any more without deleting it and uninviting all others
Additional Information

Possible workaround, but not really satisfying: User A moves the appointment to another calendar which is not taken into account for the free/busy times.
