Summary0002757: Wrong attendee status is synced (PARTSTAT)
Description

Hello,

we have the problem that sometimes the "PARTSTAT" of an "ATTENDEE" gets overwritten. And with this every attendee gets a mail, that the event has changed.

This can not always be reproduced.

But I noticed that if an attendee changes his PARTSTAT (by accepting the event) the "LAST-MODIFIED" of the event is not updated. So I suspected that the client only checks this and overwrites the event sometimes.

First I thought this is an iOS problem:
https://discussions.apple.com/message/25624105#25624105:

And I reproduced this problem with it. But I am not able to do this anymore. And this happens irregularly. Very strange behavior.

So is it correct to not update the "LAST-MODIFIED" entry of an event when an attendee accepts the event?
And if not could you please change this?

Thanks a lot!

Steps To Reproduce
  • create event with alarm and one or more attendee
  • sync with client
  • let one attendee accept the event
  • don't sync before the alarm triggers
  • wait for the alarm
  • accept the alarm

Does nobody else has the problem that sometimes "changed" notifications were send when the alarm was accepted?

Were only a few users. But this happens from time to time.

And I would suspect that SOGo is used in much larger environment with a little bit more than 10 calendar users.
