Summary | 0002640: SOGo should be able to log to syslog
Description | SOGo can only log events to a file handled by itself. As in every server environment, syslog is a important hub for information and allows every kind of manipulation like logging localy or remotely, etc without the application to have knowledge of that. WOLogFile sould be able to recognize a special argument like : syslog[:facility[:level]] with reasonable defaults like "daemon" (facility) and "notice" (level) This would also normalize a bit the log format because there are at least 3 formats in the log to report events. As a bonus, a different option to log HTTPAccess-like activity (Apache style events) would be nice like WOAccessLogFile to avoid mixing everything in the same destination.
