Summary | 0002325: groups support for SQL-based authentication sources
Description | Please implement groups support for SQL-based authentication sources.
Tags | mysql, SOGoUserSources
This is really important to any organizations that do not use (in our case do not WANT to use, for security reasons) the same password for ActiveDirectory logins and email logins.. We use postfixadmin+mysql for managing email users, and really need the ability to have separate passwords. Maybe the best way would be to support separate (and multiple) AUTH and USER DB's, like doveecot does now? |
Please add the function groups for authentication using sql. |
Is this hard to implement? I think that it is a very important feature. It would be much easier to grant access rights to groups instead of single users. |
This would be a nice thing to have. Is this feature on the roadmap or so? |
