I upgrade sogo the 2.0.3a version and I have this problem with sieve script : If enable forwarding or vacation for the first time sieve script is not activated but if I made some modifications after the second save and close the sieve is activated in my imap server. In the logs at the creation I have that : after that the sieve script is activated. |

It seems that we have the same problem here with 2.0.2a (centos6 release) and dovecot. The workaround for the user when he wants to add some sieve scripts is to save preferences two times :

I had exactly the same issue with dovecot imap server (which uses Pegeonhole sieve module). SOGo sends the sieve command in one packet and CR/LF in second one. It causes the problem - imap sieve daemon treads login comand as two separate ones and sends two responses. It desynchronises communication - now SOGo takes previous response for every command. If you install new sieve script, SOGo is trying to delete old one. If one exist, daemon delete it and return "OK". If not, daemon returns "FAIL". The next command is "insert script". Daemon takes script and return "OK", but SOGo takes previous "FAIL" and doesn't try to activate script. |

We have the exact same issue as described by "vbonamy" in post '0005452' using SOGo 2.0.4b, Cyrus-Imapd with a Perdition Proxy in between. The script is save to the target server, but only activated after having closed and re-opened the "Preferences". |

lemeurt, which version of cyrus are you using and is starttls enabled for the sieve service? vbonamy, which version of pigeonhole are you using? As bofhus said, there was a parsing bug in recent releases of this software which caused the problem you are describing. See bug 0002230 for more details. It would be really helpful if someone could provide a cleartext network trace showing the problem (in pcap or tcpflow text format) |

I've duplicated my production server and disabled TLS: I've enabled TLS again: I even tried to bypass the Perdition proxy server and connect directly to the Cyrus-Imapd server and got the same result ==> The issue for me is only occuring when using TLS. |

Great, thanks for investigating this, looks like something is wrong when using starttls. I'll try to reproduce the issue here with sogo -- sieve+TLS --> timsieved. |

should be fixed with this commit: https://github.com/inverse-inc/sope/commit/24588cf7e401c287878abbc2ca605d4ee3431415 It works fine with cyrus (timsieved), but testing against dovecot would be really appreciated. |
