Summary | 0001383: Problem with special characters in event UID
Description | When an event is created (e.g. by importing an external ics file) with a UID that contains % (percent) or : (colon) signs the event's info can't be shown and the event can't be deleted in the web frontend (percent) and the event isn't shown in Thunderbird at all but an error is generated (colon). I guess the bigger issue is that the UID is used unescaped to create the URL for the event object which leads to problems with characters that are special in URLs.
Additional Information | The ics file I got in a mail had: UID:20110717T182104Z-1@fe80:0:0:0:222:19ff:fea6:24d0%4
