Entering an incorrect, or even invalid URL for a remote address book simply results in an empty address book, rather than raising some sort of error message. Similarly, inaccessible or broken servers are never indicated, either.

I assume things are happening on the thunderbird console, but it would be nice if my users got some immediate feedback when they're doing something wrong :-)
