Summary | 0000063: Upgrading SoGo Connector from 0.94 to 0.95 breaks sync
Description | Previously using SoGo Connector 0.94 with Thunderbird 2.0.0.22 on Ubuntu does sync the address book. Upgrading to SoGo Connector 0.95 breaks the sync completely. Stepping back to 0.94 the sync works again.

Please give us more beef on which server you're using, what exactly break (contacts? calendars?) etc. |
Thunderbird 2.0.0.22 on Ubuntu Hardy Using the SoGo Connector to sync TB adress book to contacts in eGW. With 0.95 No sync happens at all. Entering / adding contacts in TB do not show up in the address book in eGW. Entering / adding contacts in eGW do not show up in TB after synchronize. |
I have a similar problem. Client: Server: |
Also tried the new version 0.96 of the SoGo Connector, also fails to sync like version 0.95. Please fix this, as it renders the connector useless! |
Not when you use it with SOGo! Can you provide us with the output of the tcpflow command running on the SOGo port? It most likely is something really simple to fix. |
You can use it without SOGo? |
Our installation has not been made by me. Is it possible to use the SOGo Connector 0.94 without the SOGo backend server? |
Client: Server: The client gets a multiple response (two) from the server. <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?> |

This is the call in the error log with the connector 0.96: [Fri Oct 09 12:36:38 2009] [error] [client 172.20.254.176] groupdav::PROPFIND(Array([path] => /addressbook/[depth] => 0[root] => Array([name] => propfind[xmlns] => DAV:)[props] => Array([0] => Array([name] => resourcetype[xmlns] => DAV:)[1] => Array([name] => supported-report-set[xmlns] => DAV:)[2] => Array([name] => getctag[xmlns] => http://calendarserver.org/ns/)))) This is the call in the error log with the connector 0.94: It seems that the "extra informations" of the new connector create problems to eGroupWare 1.6.002. [1] => Array([name] => supported-report-set[xmlns] => DAV:)[2] => Array([name] => getctag[xmlns] => http://calendarserver.org/ns/) |

heres a version that works w/ egroupware |
Thank you, it works perfectly! |
Hi, there even is a newer version from mf software: With this you can work with (upcoming) egroupware 1.6003 (which is in svn branch 1.6, but still numbered 1.6002). But there are still some problems with line feeds in field NOTE (noticed with windows tb client). Does a1390273 (Reporter) or anyone else know where to report bugs like this? Here? At egroupware? |
Not relevant anymore with the extensions for TB 10. |
