Summary0002460: Share popup window minimizes
Description

Clicking on "share a folder pops up a window, in firefox 24 on Windows 7 the popup window minimizes. Next when I click "+" to add user, the popup window again minimizes. In short every new pop up windows minimizes, i have to go to taskbar and click to bring foxus back to it to work.
The problem doesn't arise in IE of Chrome. Any help to solve the issue will be appreciated.

This is a general Windows 7 problem.
You have to:

  • open regedit
  • go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop
  • set key ForegroundLockTimeout to 0
  • close regedit
  • restart Windows

Also in Firefox you have to go to:
about:config
Accept the warning
Then set
dom.disable_window_flip to false
dom.disable_window_move_resize to false
